Santa Monica Oak Wood Floor Installation + Rubio Monocoat

This beautiful European Oak hardwood floor was installed in the Mar Vista, Santa Monica area of Los Angeles. Just over 2,000 sq/ft of ulta wide engineered 9" oak floors were laid, sanded and finished with our hardwax oil of choice, Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C.

This project included the living room, kitchen, dining room, hallways and all four bedrooms. Pretty much the entire house, which was a brand new construction, featured this beautiful hardwood floor we supplied for the owners. The wood floor installation was done with the glue down + nail method over the plywood subfloor. That took 4 days. Then we spend 3 more days sanding and refinishing the newly installed floor. Rubio Monocoat in the Smoke 5% color was chosen as the finish. Another quality Los Angeles hardwood floor installation and refinishing project completed!
